The short version
- Subscriptions: cancel any time; you keep the service until the end of
the period you paid for. Part periods are not refunded.
- Project work: your advance is refunded in full if you cancel before work
starts. After that, you pay for the work done and the rest is refunded.
- Fixed-price services: not refundable once delivered.
- Charged by mistake? A duplicate payment, or money taken for a payment
that failed, is always refunded in full within 7 working days.
1. Subscriptions
This covers our software products billed by subscription, such as 7DS Social, 7DS CMS and
7DS Fashion OS.
- You can cancel at any time from your account, or by emailing
contact@7ds.in from the address on the account.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. The service keeps working until the end of the period
you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
- We do not refund the unused part of a period you have already paid for.
- If we stop offering a product, or a change we make removes something your plan was sold
with, we refund the unused part of the current period.
2. Project work
This covers websites, apps and custom software, priced in a written quote.
- Cancelling before work starts: the advance is refunded in full.
- Cancelling after work has started: we charge for the work done up to the
date you cancel, at the rates in the quote, and refund the rest of what you have paid.
If the work done is worth more than you have paid, the difference is invoiced.
- Completed milestones that you have approved are not refundable.
- If we cannot deliver what the quote describes, we refund everything you paid for the
part we did not deliver.
3. Fixed-price services
Services listed on our website at a set price are not refundable once they have been
delivered. If you cancel before we start, we refund the full amount. If what we deliver does
not match the description on the website, tell us within 7 days and we will put it right or
refund you.
4. Payments taken by mistake
If you are charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or money leaves your account for a payment
that failed, write to us and we refund the extra amount in full within 7 working days of
confirming it.
5. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card, bank account or UPI ID you paid with, through the same payment
provider. We start a refund within 7 working days of approving it; your bank usually credits it
within 5 to 7 working days after that. GST charged on a refunded amount is refunded with it.
6. Delivery
Everything we sell is delivered online: access to a subscription product starts as soon as the
first payment succeeds, and project work and fixed-price services are delivered by email, to an
account we set up for you, or to a server you control, within the time on the product page or
in the quote. We do not sell or ship physical goods, so no shipping charges or courier delivery
apply.
